This piece is without any revolutionary era damage to the crown as is often seen in these coins. Light adjustment marks on obverse. During the minting process, the planchet was weighed before it was struck. If it was overweight a file was taken to the planchet until it was the proper weight. The planchet was then struck, and if the strike wasn't strong enough these marks can still be seen, as on the Obverse of this coin.
