2011 beautiful Celebrate Australia releases portray stunning Australian landscapes and marine environments inscribed on the World Heritage List. Struck in aluminium bronze, each of these lovely coins would make wonderful mementos or gifts. The coins coloured reverse represents the Wet Tropics spectacular landscape, featuring a waterfall and native Burrawang Palms.

The design also includes the Indigenous southern cassowary, a large flightless bird related to the emu. The coins coloured reverse represents Macquarie Islands rugged shoreline. The design also includes the fur seal, one of several species of marine life that breed on the island. The coins coloured reverse represents the Gondwana Rainforests beautiful trees and native ferns.

The design also includes Alberts lyrebird, a large long-tailed songbird famed for its rich plumage. The coins coloured reverse represents the Australian Fossil Mammal Site of Riversleigh and incorporates a recreation of the Thylacoleo carnifex marsupial lion, one of the many mammal fossils found at Naracoorte. The coins coloured reverse represents Purnululu National Parks ancient scenery, incorporating a backdrop of the spectacular Bungle Bungle Range.
