Offered here is an authentic 1745 French silver jeton issued for the Mairie d'Orléans during the reign of King Louis XV, associated with Colas de Mondru, Écuyer. This scarce municipal jeton represents local civic authority in 18th-century France and is connected to Orléans, identified on the reverse by the Latin name Aurelia. The obverse features the ornate arms of Colas de Mondru, including a boar beneath a tree within the central shield.

The surrounding legend reads DE LA MAIRIE DE MR. COLAS DE MONDRU ECUYER 1745. The reverse shows a seated allegorical female figure holding a sword, with a shield and military trophies beside her. The reverse legend reads ME VINDICE LILIA FLORENT, meaning roughly Under my protection, the lilies flourish. Type: Silver jeton / token coin.
