Mexico 5 Pesos 1950 SOUTHEASTERN RAILROAD. You Grade looks Uncirculated Light Toning. One of the most beautiful Mexican coins ever minted!

Original Total Mintage: 200,000 Half were melted. To strike the 25 Pesos Olympic coins of 1968. ESTIMATED CURRENT SURVIVAL IS LESS THAN 100,000! This coin was badly distributed and most were stored in the Mexico City Mint.

When the time came to make other silver coins they were ordered to be remelted. This destroyed over half of them, making this one of the rarest mid-1900s silver coins in Mexico.
