Every year, In addition to producing their standard bullion version of the Britannia with a business finish, the Royal Mint releases a limited mintage of silver Britannia's with a proof finish. This is #1477 of a mintage of only 7,150 coins, with only 5,000 released in this special limited packaging (the others were issued in sets).

The coin contains one troy ounce of. 999 fine silver and has a face value of two British Pounds. NOTE: This coin has some light toning on the coin's reverse (the Britannia side) along the outer edge.
